Honey is internationally among the most frauded kinds of food. Through international initiatives, this disrespect of the noble work of beekeepers is tried to be combated. At the same time, the focus is on developing the quality of beekeepers’ products. In 2019, the Danish Beekeepers ‘Association established its own laboratory to analyze members’ products. The Swedish Beekeepers’ Association is involved in the international work for the development of ISO standards on beekeeping products.
